best Way To Remove Grease From Your Kitchen?

Grease and grime in the kitchen are the most common problem of every household. While cooking, grease and oil spills cling to the walls, stove, cabinets and other appliances. You may have difficulty in removing this grease.
If you clean stove and appliances right away, grease can easily be removed by just wet cloth. However, if you clean later, it becomes sticky and hard to remove.
You can effectively
remove grease by using any of the following:
Liquid dish soap: Liquid dish soap is an effective cleanser. It contains chemicals that cuts through the grease easily. Mix it with hot water and use a scrubbing pad by dipping it in soapy solution to clean the surface.
Rubbing alcohol: Rubbing alcohol is a grease stain remover. It is a solvent. You can use it by soaking a cloth in it and laying it over the dried grass. Leave it there for a few minutes until the grease dissolves. Then clean the area with a wet cloth.
Cleansers: There are a number of cleansers available in stores for grease removal. They contain chemicals which remove grease and grime easily. You can use any of them. But most of them are toxic and not environment-friendly, so check the contents before buying.
Bleach: You can also use bleach to remove grease and oil spills. Mix bleach with hot water and spray the solution over the surface. Let it stay for some time. Clean with a damp cloth. Always wear gloves while using it.

Home Remedies

Apart from the above mentioned products, you can also use green cleansers, some of them are readily available at your home:
Vinegar: Vinegar is a great home remedy for cleaning sticky residue on the stoves, cabinets and other appliances. Apply undiluted vinegar on the messy area. Leave it for some time and wipe away with a dish cloth or non-abrasive scrub pad.
Baking soda: Baking soda is a great non-abrasive cleanser. Mix soda and water to make a cleansing solution or else just dampen a sponge, put some baking soda on it and wipe the surface.
Ammonia: Ammonia is a household cleaning product. Mix ammonia with water. Pour this solution on the grease stains. It will dissolve the grease stains. Then clean with a wet cloth.
TSP(Trisodium-phosphate)- PF: TSP-PF is a phosphate free version of TSP which makes it a green cleanser. It is the best solution for difficult greasy stains on any surface. It is a great replacement for toxic, heavy duty cleanser.
Lemon:Lemon and lemon juice can be used as a great cleanser for grease stains. Scrub the lemon on the surface to remove grease or else pour some lemon juice on the stain. Let it soak in for a few minutes and wipe away with a dish cloth or scrub.
Cooking oil: Grease removes grease. You can use cooking oil to remove difficult grease stains. Put some cooking oil on a paper towel and rub on the surface. Clean with any of the above products afterwards to get a new-like shine.
